01/09/2019 : Having seen the clips from the game on SSN, I was surprised by the kick-off, which Celtic took.
With the change in the laws of the game to allow for a backpass from centre, I was expecting that to happen. Instead, their player deliberately punted the ball into touch, their right, Rangers' left and about twelve yards from the goal line. I have never seen this done before. It obviously conceded a throw in to us, but it put the play into our half and near to our goal too, with no need for them to play through our half to get there.
A novel (for me) and interesting tactic, I wonder if it will catch on ?

rangers 0-2 celtic

late post on the game but I would have took a draw before k.off with the injuries & makeshift defence lennon got his game plan spot on tbf, strange atmosphere with obv only 800 away fans there since both clubs reduced the ticket allocation from 7500k to 800,rangers where loud in spells but seem to only sing 3-4 same songs as UEFA fined them for racist singing/chanting good tifo dispay pre match full broomlaon end, couldbarely  hear the pocket of celtic fans but YT vids show they were going tonto

The giant tifo was on display as the teams emerged down the tunnel

06/09/2019 : I meant to reply earlier, Dimitri. Thanks for the info.

John McGinn scores for Scotland tonight, providing the lead, then 'Manager' Clarke takes him off !

Result : Scotland 1-2 Russia

I see Artem Dzyuba scored Russia's 1st goal ... I cannot help but like that bloke, he is one of life's characters.

SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 14/09/2019 : Rangers 3-1 Livingston

To quote Rangers' FT tweet : A terrific second-half comeback at Ibrox.
Going by the SSN Live Commentary, it was all Rangers throughout the match, with Livingston only able to take the lead in the 2nd half from a penalty. I hope Ryan Kent's 1st half injury is not serious !
