  1. Absolutely yes for me, avstu. He’s fast and is a good full back with fantastic crosses in his locker. Targett is a liability and is too slow to play the way Stevie G wants us to play! Fast High Press Intensity. But we also need a CB, a CDM of Fabinho Kante or a Busquets style player should be signed this window! Then the Summer Transfer Market will be Gerrards chance to exercise his own views of what a successful AVFC will look like 👍🏻
  2. Position’s & examples of players Ive discussed with my Son, a high quality LB i.e Lucas Digne (or Sosa from Stuttgart has been impressive this season) a CB for sure (one experienced and one young enough to coincide with Mings’ age and learn his trade would be great) plus a Dominant CDM that’s strong and can control the game speed when needed with a high percentage passing accuracy! i.e Fabinho Kante or a Busquets style footballer would be amazing. If we can fill those three positions in this Transfer Window then it will be a great chance for us too stabilise our fabulous football club for
  3. Liverpool vs. Aston Villa: The 1st half we played very well, total opposite to the last two games but was a bit fragile in the 2nd half, again opposite to the last two games. The ref; had a good game until he gave away a penalty that shouldn’t have been! Yet he didn’t give us a blatant penalty on Ings? I do believe that our team isn’t as fit as it should be, maybe that’s down to training under Dean Smith’s tenure. It certainly looks like Gerrard has started too improve fitness at Bodymoor Heath on our player’s so in a few weeks I think we will be able to put a good 90min shift in! I’m reall
  4. We have to start like we have in the last two 2nd Half matches vs. Manchester & Leicester City!! We have to keep Salah quiet and frustrated as well.. Come On U VILLANs! Working hard pressing high and covering positions will be critical too the game plan!!! “Steven Gerrards Claret n Blue Army” UTV
  5. mmm! You’re right but it’s wrong avstu!! How can us fans voice out our views as a collective football family?? After all we are the product! No Fans No Football Clubs.. I hope we hold our own at Liverpool this weekend! & I hope Stevie doesn’t go in the wrong dressing by mistake (lol) “Gerrard” will get a phenomenal reception and so he should! A one Club career is very rare especially these days. UTV!!! “Come On Villa”
  6. Hi too ALL my fellow Villa Fans (best in the land)!! Does anyone know the very latest of AVFC Transfer Target’s for this upcoming January Window?? I’ve kept hearing lots of various players linked to us, the likes of (Kent - Sosa - Bassouma - Barasic - etc): but also outgoings like Carney (LFC/MUFC)? John McGinn (MUFC/LFC) Douglas Luiz? anxious too know if it’s true of any outgoing/incoming player’s that we are firmly interested in! Also are upcoming transfers controlled by S.Gerrard or the owners and the board?? Cheers UTV
  7. Brilliant Win!! Should have had 4goals with J.Ramsey & O.Watkins (defender tripped himself over) REF: was awful and VAR is killing the passion of our ‘Beautiful Game’ too inconsistent and frustrating I would rather have NO VAR and accept what our game used too be!! Some decisions you get Some you don’t after all these Referees these days are Fully Professional Official’s!! VAR needs ditching we’ve tried it! It doesn’t work and when you score!! Well “can I celebrate or not” it’s just not right for me anyways. Have 4x Linesmen two on each half to help the ref, Football is a highly passionate
  8. I totally agree I was never a fan of VAR from the get go to be honest but after many discussions and listening too pundits etc, I believed that VAR would only be used in Penalty and Clear offside decisions. So I was convinced it would help our game. I’m going to make a point of how’poor’ this is! Do you remember last season against West Ham Utd when Ollie scored and it was disallowed after 5mins (yup 5 long minutes) of line drawings of various angles on our TVs and then they said his sleeve was offside even though he was crouching (like a athletic sprinter) his lower body was behind the play?

  10. I do too! I’m really excited on who he will target in the January Transfer Market to strengthen competition of the squad. He has never had the financial power from his short managerial career yet and it’s clear that NSWE will give him what he needs! He has too buy SMART!! Which I believe he will do. Bailey injured again soooh frustrating, he was the player I was most excited to see, but if this is a trend then it’s pretty obvious that the Premier League is not for him, maybe SerieA? I hope he can make it at our football club though! Sanson looked very good when he came on. Does you/anyone know
  11. I agree. Way Way Way, too much respect was given in the 1st, I really thought it was going too be 4or5 but the 2nd half we did start to press. They taught us a lesson in the 1st and really showed me that we are a long ways away from at least Champions League level! Time is needed for Stevie G and the staff, it will be very interesting who Stevie will sign in January. I would like too see Sosa (LB) of Stuttgart! A skilled (CDM) strong with high passing % too control and slow thing’s down when needed, like Rodri did last night. I think R. Kent could be an exciting option for Stevie as another (C
  12. “IF NOBODY KNOWS THAT ISNT GOING TO VILLA PARK TONIGHT THE MATCH IS LIVE ON AMAZON-PRIME” UTV - Let’s see how far or close we are to one of the “so-called top4” with Stevie GERRARD’s 1st real test to show a jam packed Villa Park his tactical strategic qualities and his philosophy. How will Jack be treated??? I hope n prey he doesn’t score especially at the Holte End. He will be jeered that’s football I’ve been going to Villa Park for almost 4 decades and it’s part of the territory especially “One of our Own” UTV. Not ‘Gud-Luk Jack n City but ONLY for my/our special club, Aston Villa! my luv my
  13. Who do you want Villa to sign this January Transfer Window? I think we need another LB (Sosa from Stuttart) looks the part with 13x Assists. Another holding midfielder that has an engine and a high percentage passing ability to calm things down. I have heard about Ryan Kent being mentioned!?! Rangers are my fave Scottish team (irony huh) I have been watching him the past few years and at only 25yrs I think he could be a snip at a reported £15-20m! He’s very much like Buendia in flair and stature but is fast-as-fuke (GabbyGabby Agbonlahor) lol. I also think either a highly rated young 20/21
