Alisha Lehmann has officially signed a new contract with Aston Villa Women. Her previous deal was due to expire this summer. The 24-year-old has now put pen to paper and signed for a further 3 years until 2026 with an option of a further year.
The winger had a successful campaign in claret and blue last season featuring 27 times in all competitions. She had 8 goal contributions, scoring 5 goals and assisting a further 3.
Her form earned her a call-up to represent her native Switzerland in the recent Women’s World Cup, where she unfortunately only featured in one game. Alisha will look to push on and better these numbers in the coming season.
The Swiss international signed for Villa in 2021 after spells at West Ham and a loan at Everton. She has currently made 54 appearances in all competitions scoring 10 goals for the club, her first coming in December 2021 in the 7-0 Conti Cup victory over Sunderland.
Fans are hoping to see more of the positive performances from Lehmann this season and see how she can improve her stats in the coming seasons.
