Aston Villa vs Sheffield United
Sky Bet Championship
17:30 – Saturday 23rd December
Villa Park, Birmingham
Aston Villa will welcome Sheffield United to Villa Park tomorrow for the Championship clash live on Sky Sports.
Steve Bruce will be hoping his side can return to winning ways after drawing 1 and losing 2 of their last three Championship outings. Villa’s poor form has seen them drop to 10 points behind the automatic promotion spots and just 1 clear of ninth-placed Preston North End.
Sheffield United are one place below Villa in the league in sixth but both sides sit on 37 points. United’s form isn’t any better than Villa’s either as they have failed to win a game in five league games (D1, L4).
Villa has picked up 22 points from a possible 33. While Sheffield United have managed 15 points on the road from 11 games.
TEAM NEWS
Keinan Davis is fit and available after missing the defeat to Derby. Andre Green and John Terry have both returned to full training. It is thought that both could be available in a week or two.
Josh Onomah (foot) and Henri Lansbury (hamstring) are both unavailable.
United will be without Jon Fleck who is suspended following a red card in the 2-1 defeat against Bristol City.
