Villa fans are an embarressment
Certain sections of the Villa faithful yesterday embarrassed themselves and the club by instead of getting behind the team, booing them.
I will be the first to admit, yesterday’s performance was below par, and even some of Martin O’Neill’s decisions were questionable.
But to boo your own players instead of getting behind them is a disgrace and it shows what success does to a football club in my opinion.
I would put money on the loyal fans, which are there week in- week out not booing and those who choose to go every now and again booing.
“These players have put heart and soul into these games, together with the fans, who have spent hard-earned money supporting the side a lot.
“I think those players and those fans deserve that, not someone who has just come along in the last four or five months for the ride but would be the first one to complain if things are not going so well.’’
This statement says it all for me and I fully agree with Martin O’Neill
Villa are going to Wembley, Blues ent!
There isn’t a lot to talk about today so I thought I would take this moment to talk about the bitterness that is coming from across the City.
I’m sure we have all had a bluenose come up to us and laugh about what happened in the Carling Cup Final – they couldn’t accept that Nemanja Vidic should of sore red, it was all purely because we was rubbish.
Well what goes around comes around. Birmingham failed to progress to the Semi Final of the FA Cup in a game, if we are all honest, they were expected to win.
The excuse’s come and fell on death ears, very much the same way our excuses did on the Monday morning after the cup final. But what really made me laugh was where Villa fans said by having Vidic sent off, it wouldn’t mean victory, but a good chance. Birmingham fans seem to believe that Ridgewell’s goal that never was should of counted – which I do agree with – but then they would of gone on to win the game? Come on!
Just remember Birmingham you are where you belong, still the second team in the Midlands, and still jealous and bitter by the fact that Villa is going to Wembley for the second time this season.
And yes there’s a possibility that we could lose, just like we could win – but at least we are there and no matter what excuse you come up with, you know deep down that you wish Birmingham were there to!
So, Wemberleeee, Wemberleeee, it’s the famous part of London that the Blues will never see!
On the march with O’Neills Army..
.. Were all going to Wem-ber….. No we are not quite there yet but Villa head into the crucial Semi Final clash against Blackburn Rovers tomorrow with a 1-0 lead from the away leg.
I say crucial, but some might say whats important to one man, isnt so important to next. Blackburn Rovers are bringing just under 2,000 supporters with them tomorrow despite FREE travel. Blackburn have returned 4,000 tickets. Quite shocking really and for this reason i really hope Villa give them a beating.
So for all those who havent already read the official website, there are now a limited amount of seats available in Block P of the Doug Ellis Stand – usually wear the away supporters sit.

Im sure we have all been reading the papers of the players and the manager saying what they are going to do, and how they really want the final but we all know talk is cheap, and the only talking the players can actually do is on the pitch underneath the famous lights of Villa Park tomorrow night.
The club are treating it special with free flags to help boost the atmosphere inside Villa and limited edition matchday programmes.
Villa have a full side to choose from, and i have a feeling we might see the return of Young, who will replace Collins with Cueller moving back into the middle.
One thing i know will be certain tomorrow is a electric atmosphere with the claret and blue faithful behind the lads. Come on the Villa!!
