Coach travel for Palace away
Due to the fact that Selhurst Park is probably the most inconvenient ground to access in the country (particularly on a Sunday), we are considering running coach travel to the match on Sunday 14th February. The coach will go ahead if demand is sufficient.
The price is likely to be around £18 to ensure we could run the travel without needing to fill the coach. Probable pick up points would be as follows:
Kingstanding Circle
Birmingham City Centre
Solihull Town Centre
We’d leave early enough to allow plenty of time for a drink before the game. We would then return immediately after full time.
Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults (STHs): £15
Adults: £20
Over-65s (STHs): £10
Over-65s: £13
Under-17s (STHS): £5
Under-17s: £8
Under-12s (STHs): £2
Under-12s: £5
If you are interested in reserving seats, please PM avstu or B90villa through the forum, send an e-mail via our contact us page (title the form ‘Palace travel’), or alternatively ring Chris on 07846 309 082

Avillafan.com will be looking into coach travel for this game.
Preview: Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa
So the long awaited League Cup Semi-Final between Villa and Blackburn at Ewood Park is now just a matter of hours away. After the game being called off already due to the weather last week, fans have had to wait even longer than first anticipated.
Martin O’Neill stated in his pre-match press conferance that Villa will be out there to give it there all as we try and reach our first final since our defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup Final in 2000.
This competiton is now everything for Blackburn as they don’t have much more to play for apart from maybe Premier League survival so they will be fired up despite being battered by Manchester City on Monday night.
Villa look to have a full team ready to choose from, while Blackburn will give late fitness tests to Gael Givet and Benni McCarthy after they both picked up injuries against Man City.
Villa will have a strong official following of 5,325 supporters, which others expected to travel and try and get into the home end and theres no doubt they will get behind the lads as they always do on there day.
I don’t know how much truth is in this, but i was today told that Blackburn have only sold a very dissapointing 11,000 tickets. As i said I’m not sure how much truth is in this but would be terrible if it is true with it being a Semi-Final tie.
Also, if you are travelling to tomorrows game look out for the Avillafan.com coach, which expects to arrive in Blackburn around 3.30pm. We hope to have the Avillafan.com flag flying, however it doesn’t always go to plan on our away trips.
Yorke wants Villa Park return!
On a day when there isnt a lot of news concerning our club i come across a article in the Birmingham Mail, stating that former player Dwight Yorke would love to one day return to Villa Park as manager.
The former Trinidad and Tobago international is currently doing his coaching badges and he has stated he would like to build bridges after his departure to Manchester United, and then later playing for local rivals Birmingham City upset a lot of fans.
He described the job as the ‘Ultimate job in management’ which is a big statement but also shows just how much his time at Villa ment to him.
Would i take him on as manager? Well with how Villa are going if, and i say if Martin O’Neill does decide to leave in the near future then as long as Yorkie has prooved himself somewhere and has been successful then of course we would have to look at the situation.
The fact hes played under top managers like Ron Atkinson and Alex Ferguson would give him some edge, but only time will tell.
Away from this, all seats on the official Avillafan.com coach for our trip to Blackburn Rovers on Thursday night our now once again all sold out.
