Nigel Reo-Coker finally completed his move on the 5th July 2007 after being trailled by Martin O'Neill for about 2 months. The deal was believed to be in the region of around £8.5million and he signed a four year deal.
Nigel is a tough tackling and a great passer of the ball. He has great vision and will certainly be a star in the future.
Before Aston Villa

Nigel Reo-Coker was signed up for Wimbledon at the age of 13. He went through there youth setup before coming captain of the first team. Reo-Coker went on to make 64 first team appearances for Wimbledon before moving onto West Ham.
He was a fans favourite at West Ham, helping them gain promotion back to the premier league as well as leading them to a FA Cup Final, only to lose out on penalties after a thrilling 3-3 draw.
And thats when it started to go wrong, the following season 2006-2007 West Ham had problems and were fighting relegation. The fans began to turn on Reo-Coker blaming only him for West Hams poor form and he soon decided it would be best if he moved on.
International

Nigel Reo-Coker made his England U-21 debut while playing for Wimbledon in March 2003. He soon became captain of the U-21 setup.
Nigel helped the U-21 side reach the U21 European Championship Semi-Final in 2007.
