Fantastic goal that is....besides Gabbys goal against Blackburn (I think?) When have we seen a quality ball curled into the top like that? Let alone an aerial one! If he can score a few of those next season id be happy

Sacro accepting my keeping up drinking challenge for next season.

I am still excited about seeing Holman at Villa. This guy steps up for the big games, and digs even harder when the team is on the back foot. People talk about youtube footage all the time but they need to realise us Australians are still using VHS tapes and don't upload everything onto the internet. Just trust the few Aussies on here that he will contribute well to the club. Even if not playing every game, he will keep all the players on their toes every day. Pressure for a place in the team is needed.

the one good thing McLeish did for us was sign Holman, i think he still needs to adjust a bit but there's no doubt he'll be an awesome player for us, never stops running!

From what i saw on the Sky edited highlights the lad has cartloads of energy always buzzing an "in your face player" this is what has been lacking for many a misty year,--just needs to work on that final ball, and hesitate a wee bit less, and he will become a very very valuable member of ---Lambo,s resurging Aston Villa,

for us older Villans imo anyway reminiscent of that great servant to the Claret and Blue----Frank (ie) Carrodus.

Holman ran around like a Villa fan against Newcastle, okay the quality wasnt great but he put a right shift in so fair play to him!

He certainly does work his little cotton socks off doesn't he and I will always applaud that.
