What is rons injury ?. Calf strain ? Must be close to being ready ?

Yhh calf injury. Hopefully very soon as Herd needs to be taken out the starting 11

I am just hoping Dunne comes back soon. Vlaar Clark Dunne would be solid but slow lol

I saw something in today's performance that gave me some hope of staying up ,,

Love it!!!!! Supporting Villa isn't good for my health!!!! Or my marriage Bank balance Car Self respect :-)

listenining to the post match interview----i do,nt envisage much, if any experience being brought in,-- Lambo said Villa have skimmed relegation the last 2 seasons with experience,---and he is right,!

I think it's pretty clear that if you don't fit in with PL's plan's then your gone. Most managers would swallow their pride and bring in players that have and can do a job when asked to. My question is. Is PL a power hungry egomaniac? Is his plan, my way,or the byway? We have players who can do a job when asked. ie:- Did Bent deserve to be frozen out when fit? Not his biggest fan, but shouldn't N'zogbia have been given a chance? Youth is fine at times, but even Stevie Wonder could see that "Supa Marc" just doesn't cut it as a top flight player, yet he still gets picked, he's not the only one. PL seems to have lost the plot, Westwood has been one of our best players over the last few games, but gets made a scapegoat against Wigan. Wake up and smell the coffee PL, this is not Norwich where we will be happy with survival. This is AVFC..

why is everybody assuming it's too late? it's January in a couple of days and Lerner was there today for the first time in how long? after 2 bad defeats.. and he witnessed another..

i know the majority are starting to blame Lambert but seriously look at the players at his disposal.. he got given 20 million in January to overhaul the squad and he bought defenders, midfielders and attackers.. now he need a further 30+ to bring some experience in. just how much does the manager have to do with it when the whistle has blown and we've kicked off? those players should have been murderous today!! imagine YOU in a Villa shirt on that pitch facing off against Wigan after the previous two matches. No Arsenal fans will be calling for Wengers head tonight will they? even though a week ago he was inept, useless, past it, stubborn blah blah.. the same players.. the same manager.. and an entirely different performance.

Lerner needs to start investing heavily in this club, that's where the anger should be directed, not at the man who has to manage a team of kids against opposition who smell their fear.

if Lerner has ANY sense, he will sort this out next month, if not, i suppose we'll all blame the manager and start next season with no money and a new man to pin all of our hopes on and ultimately crucify while the owner stays away and manages to delegate responsibility to everybody else.

I agree to a certain degree, but regardless, the manager is the one who picks this team of so called kid's, and he's (PL) the one that picks it. He's the one that watches them train every day,so he should see the ones who have fear in their eyes. These 'kid's' make more money than we could ever dream of, and doing a 'job' they enjoy. Start earning that money and do a job. I'm sure if most of us did a crappy job, week in,week out, we'd be on the dole by March.

And on top of that Lambert after the game says strengthening in Jan is not a priority..wtf...

It seems the priority is maintaining his ego and his policies.
