January Transfer Talk 2013

A good thing that PL is showing that any young gifted player will get a chance at villa and not just a bench warmer so that may sway things our way when it comes to fighting off the uniteds and city's for the young English talent!!!

That's a very good point, young players will know that they will probably get more game time at villa then moat other prem teams.

Stewart Downing on his way out of Liverpool, would you want him back?

Myself I'm not keen on him but we need a good winger, the only problem is would he fit in this young side that Lambert is building. Myself I'd rather Lambert went for Zaha or N. Dyer.

But we do need experience aswell!

I HATE COV,

FROM RAISING OUR HOPES.... TO DESTROYING OUR CLUB = RANDY LERNER

Lambert will sign who he wants, if he doesn't sign messi he obviously doesn't want him !!

Seriously, a cm would be top of my shopping list.

This is what I want to hear, Paul Lambert's 'GTF' to the moneybags :

Skysports - Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert doesn't want to sell in January transfer window

"There is absolutely no chance we would be looking to sell. We are trying to build something here at Aston Villa and progress.

"There are young guys with a lot to look forward to in the future and it is up to us to try and keep building and get the squad improving.

"It's tough but as far as I am concerned nobody is going anywhere."

he should have added except Warnock and Hutton!

“Each smallest act of kindness, reverberates across great distances and spans of time --affecting lives unknown to the one who’s generous spirit, was the source of this good echo. Because kindness is passed on and grows each time it’s passed until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage, years later, and far away. Likewise, each small meanness, each expression of hatred, each act of evil.”

Been against Players returning in the past but does anyone else think James Milner could work very very well in our new look team and workrate ethic?

Gets about the pitch well and scores from Midfield! wages would be an issue mind
