The AM out protest needs to be scrapped, we need to get behind the team for this game because our home form needs to change soon and we need at least a point from this game!

Agreed, I think its a 90% chance AM will be gone regardless of the result....I can't see RL saying to AM ....."great job....you kept us up"....

Why dont all you guys (and girls) going to the spuds game dress up as Arabs :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: and get behind the boyz...show the players and hierarchy that we DO care about our great club .. 1-0 Villa

I agree. The problem is that we may be in the minority. I don't think the article by Collymore is gonna make things any better. Even if results keep going our way during midweek, we will stil go into next weekend 3 points above the drop (GD practically makes it 4).

The hatred for AM has gotten so bad that I don't see 100% of the support going to the players for 90 min as long as he's there and we are not mathematically safe.

Spurs are in a fight to qualify for Europe so we need to get behind the players, even if we go down a goal. I'm sure there will be plenty of idiots there at VP just itching to bring out there "AM out" banners as soon as something like that happens.

This is the worst possible weekend for the AM out protest.

I don't think there needs to be any protests I think Randy has got the idea and McLeish will be sacked by The end of the season

We should do it just in case, otherwise Randy might think we've changed our minds!

This is our last home game of the season and what we All should be doing is getting behind the boys 100%

I personally will be going to the addies about 12, have a few sherberts, then going to V.P, i will give nothing but support (thats whats supporters are meant to do by definition) regardless of where we are in the league, regardless of who is in charge.

THIS IS OUR ASTON VILLA

and this game can have a massive impact as to where we play next season. The premier league needs aston villa, and aston villa need the premier league.

I am pretty certain that the curtain will soon fall on mcleish's reign therefore i dont think a protest in neccessary.

Saying that if we get a heavy beating he deserves everything he gets lol

My prediction for the rest of the season. We will finish with 37 points. WIGAN will finish above us. But Wolves Blackburn, and Bolton will finish just below us and Villa will survive.

Lord only knows what RL will do this off-season, but it better be active or will be assured relegation earlier in the season than Wolves were this season.

to be honest if all the local newspapers are correct mcleish will be sacked before our next game so their will not be any need for a protest against mcleish and so we can get back to doing what we do best, and that is supporting aston villa.

+1 for all your positive posts

Nuneaton you need to think about what you are saying cause in my eyes your are a stupid if you think that by chanting Mcleish out at our last home game will help survival then go and support Leicester. Simples

I hope that's the case. It's the only way to avoid a negative atmosphere next weekend. If AM is out, I believe 100% of Villa fans at VP will be united in their support of the players.

I'm not saying we should chant out during the game itself. Perhaps after the final whistle or before the game itself. Once the game starts sing your hearts out for Villa, though to be honest I thought the atmosphere from the sunderland game was the best I heard all season and what was the result!

how childish to go to a game with one thought in mind which is to slate the magager who ever he is, a true villa supporter or any other club supporter would go to a game, yes with one thought in mind and that is to believe in the team we support and give them all the support they need, then after the game, make all your gripes known if you have any. it doesnt matter if mcleish has gone back through the tunnel and into the dressing room, he will know of the chants being chanted, and so will learner all the way back in the states if he is not here, i hate mcleish and learner, i want them out, but more than that i want my team to know i support them through thick and thin and i am part of the team in my own way.

Lets hope McCleish isnt sacked until the last game is finished. That would be pointless...still with Randy/Faulkner anything could happen. The manager could resign but he woudnt get his compensation would he!

after today,s results which both went in our favour, i see us as being in pole position especially having the best goal difference,--

i reckon Rovers who looked a side doomed today will accompany Wolves---

i cannot see Rangers in all honesty beating both Sheikh Citeh and Stoke, so one point should be sufficient----but 3 would definately seal it!!

the Boyz battled yesterday bolsstered i believe by Dunney,s return combined with being given the armband, Warnock,Shay, Dunney, Clark,Herdy, and Lichaj all seem up for it, and should keep their places,--if allrumours are to be believed whoever is manager!!!

our, us ,the faithful,s primary concern ought to be ensuring we retain Premiership survival --and go all out to give our beloved club full maximum vocal support, and show the whole dam world- coz rest assured the eyes of the footballing world will sure be watching!!!!!!--that we The Famous Aston Villa ---stand as one together in this very very important final home game this season----other matters if they are still relevant can and should be put on the back burner,

Survival in the EPL --is essential, -----once down it aint easy getting and staying back!!!!!

Villa Till I Die-----as always,

Houllier was actually let go by the club because they didn't feel he could do the job due to his health.

And mon was given money because he took Lerner to court for constructive dismissal and Lerner settled out of court to keep the details quiet.

Freddy is the man. Villa ought to give him a luxury box for being such a fan!

Cheers Atlana,

now thats a darn good idea, all of us faithful avillafan guys n gals could sure utilise a "luxury" box and the trappings that come with it!!

Starting with pre match drinks n tuka- in the box--then into The Holte End for the "buzz" fixx and sing song,-- Back to the "box" for half time nibbles and liquid refreshment,---

back into The Holte for more "buzz" singing and cheering the Boyz home-- and finally-back to the "box" for a final round(s) of after match liquidazion and more tuka!!!

reckon youz overseas Villans would be pretty dam impressed with such a bundle eh?-------bring it on-------------lol

I wish i could be there, and for any fan who could be there but isn't going as a protest all i have to say to you is forget your grievances for a few hours get to VP and support the lads. A full house on saturday and a positive atmosphere would be a great way to remind lerner what he owns and might persuade him to treat his toy with a little bit more respect.

And it can only help the villa to victory, show the world were a class act.
