So when we loan in players we agree to take on injury expense.....when we loan them out we make sure to take them back?

I think it was more to do with the fact that Fabian Delph has a bad injury past and I am sure Villa demanded to look at his injury. Its the same with Jermaine Jenas - He has returned to Tottenham but Villa have to pay his wage until the loan spell ends.

Checked it out,and your spot on stu, His (Delph's) loan was for the season, If a loan player is injured,he has to return to his parent club to get treatment from his parent clubs medical team, but his wage is paid by the team he was loaned to. Apparently this would ensure that the player concerned is not rushed back into playing(for the loan team) before he is fully fit, thus ensuring that the player is fit upon his return to his home team. Therefore a team that loans out a player cannot claim that a loan player was returned unfit due to the fact that the player was inadequately treated by the loan teams medical staff. Makes sense to me...

Yup.. confirmed by villa..

Darren Bent has undergone scans and he has seen a top ankle specialist this afternoon in London.

He faces up to 12 weeks on the sidelines having ruptured ankle ligaments in his left foot in the game against Wigan and he is unlikely to play again this season.

Dr Ian McGuinness and the Villa medical staff have been liaising with the England medical team about the extent of his injury.

Darren will undergo a further examination in seven days to determine the need for an operation.

I would fully expect Gabby to start up top with N'Zogbia going into Gabbys role, and Ireland into Keanes.

I think McLeish will know that Blackburn is a MUST win following the reaction of the travelling fans on Saturday.

Weimann.. Pleeeaaaase!? he deserves atleast a f**cking GAME surely!? I'd go 4-4-2 with Weimann and Gabby up top, Zog, Ireland, Gardner and Albrighton in the middle and Lichaj, Clarke, Baker and Hutton at the back :) f*ck it! Why not go for broke with all the youngsters and see if they can't do us f**cking proud for once this season!

hutton to miss scotland game with a hamstring, lets hope it's serious and AM saying it's time for weimann to step up against blackburn although that isn't quite the same as saying he will start.

My thoughts too, I think he got 2 hattricks recently? But I still don't fully understand.

He looked overweight and way off the pace against Wolves. Although he did only have about 10 minutes.

I hope he really does well but I wouldnt be surprised if he was another youngster that dissapoints. - We tend to specialise in that type.
