u care, i care, we all care, maybe we are not fickle we just pretend we want one thing when in fact all that matters to us is 1 thing & that is results, we dont care how we achieve them as long as they come, if thats the case then nobody should have moaned about MOn cos under him the results were there but everybody moaned about the style of play, the one dimensional tactics, the poor substitutions, the poor signings etc

I am definately one who could not wait for Mon to leave.

My outlook was that we couldn't keep playing and winning the way the stall was set out, and we also couldn't keep spending vast amounts both in signing on fees and wages for what in reality were a lot of very mediocre players, that is apart from the obvious ones of Barry/Millner. But I never thought that Mon would deliberately try and leave us in the shizen, which exactly what he did, and he knew what he was doing.

I agree with what you say there and tbh I didn't really get on oneills back the round pegs in square holes pi!!ed me off and his comments about having a small squad did my head in when he had 4 years to change that

Ok you name me a manager at Liverpool in the last 6 decades that hasn't won a trophy there apart from roy hodgson. French league hardly a strong one so yeah he has a good track record but that don't mean he is gonna be a success at villa does it. He is sh!t and I want him out now

Just out of curiosity... Who's your ideal "realistic" replacement?

You've also mentioned "hoofball" on here as well but that is by the by.

Ive stood / sat at Villa Park for many years & watched alot of different manager's teams, some have had immediate results & some have taken time & some have completely failed, but ive given every one of them a chance (yes even Venglos), its too early to be getting on Houllier's back, yes what he did monday p**sed alot of people off but im guessing he know's that now & he knows what he has to do to win the fans around too, so come on give him a chance & get behind the team

David moyes martin jol I'd even take chris hughton think he would do well his persona would be right for our club

Well Moyes rejected the speculation of joining Villa so can we all please stop saying i want Moyes i want Moyes, He does not want to leave atm. Jol knew the job was there and if he wanted it enough he would have thrown his name in and maybe resigned then to take the job which may have been wise as it would have meant no compensation paid out. Chris Hughton has done a good job for Newcastle getting them promoted and got a few good results so you would give him the task of getting us into the top4 and champions league? I think not

And there you have it... There is no one out there!! Mark hughes (especially with Ireland just arriving) would av been my ideal replacement, & look where he is!!

I mentioned hoofball this season with James Collins who just aimlessly just hoofballs it up the field

Never aimlessly.....he always manages to pick out the other team. :whistling:

Same as Dunne with his weak headers...I feel let down by my fellow country man...as I kept championing him as next captain. :shoot:
