Yo you must rate him pretty high i have seen quite a bit of him and i wouldnt pay no more than 5m. And might aswel forget about Sneijder and espicially at that price. Good shout about Soldado he does have a decent scoring record but he just seems like one of those players that wont settle down here and just needs to play in Spain. Still think we should go for Pavluychenko and he may not be intrested but could be worth a shput is Gourcuff of Bordeaux think he is quality
holte ender# 91
we know mon isn't particularly big in the transfer market and has huge favourites but transfers will soon be dawning on us, so the question is who would you like to see at VP? a new striker?, goal keeper or a new defender? me personally would like to see heskey sold off and replaced with striker, and a new keeper ideally drogba and buffon, but i'd settle for pavlyuchenco and hart! Aston Villa Football Club EST. 1874 The Bells Are Ringing

forevaavillan1 138
News here today in la marca says that Mon has his eye on Jesus Navas of Fc Sevilla, would be nice, but I doubt this to be true, as la marca love to give the big up at this time of the year.

ak47deol 177
Obviously it has to be realistic signings. I would like Veloso, Defour or Moutinho for a CM position to replace Petrov. A striker for alongside Gabby- Guiza, Pavluychenko or Santa Cruz

A striker for alongside Gabby- Guiza, Pavluychenko or Santa Cruz Not convinced with Santa Cruz and Pavluchenko seems to be settling in at spurs, My choice would be Veloso and Darren Bent, i think the latter would work well for us as a replacement for heskey or Carew (hopefully the Mule) “Each smallest act of kindness, reverberates across great distances and spans of time --affecting lives unknown to the one who’s generous spirit, was the source of this good echo. Because kindness is passed on and grows each time it’s passed until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage, years later, and far away. Likewise, each small meanness, each expression of hatred, each act of evil.”

lukedaw 80
i found a few links in the news paper martin O’Neill is entering the battle to sign Wigan’s £15m-rated Hugo Rodallega. Aston Villa’s chief scout Ian Storey-Moore will check on the Colombian but they face competition from Birmingham and Stoke. Sunderland and Liverpool are also interested in the 24-year-old, who has scored eight times in the Barclays Premier League this season - including the winner against Liverpool (below). Villa continue to track West Bromwich star Graham Dorrans. Aston Villa are favourites to land Robbie Keane this summer - as Celtic boss Tony Mowbray faces up to losing the striker. Spurs hitman Keane, 29, has been a big success on loan at Parkhead, where he has scored eight goals in eight games. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp wants to sell the forward in the summer as he has now decided to keep Roman Pavlyuchenko. But Celtic cannot afford a permanent deal for the £9million-rated ace, who earns around £65,000-a-week. Click here to find out more! That has let in Villa, whose wage structure can accommodate Keane. Boss Martin O'Neill is a big fan and will fund the move for Keane by selling several fringe players like Habib Beye, Steve Sidwell and Nicky Shorey. Keane returned to White Hart Lane in January 2009 for £12m after flopping at Liverpool. Get well soon Petrov
