Prediction:

Villa will return to the home game in this round of League. From the end of last season to now, villa has played very well at home and won all the last three home games. In addition, I would like to praise villa's transfer operation this summer. They sold geralish for more than 100 million pounds, but the bought yingsi played a good role in filling. This gentleman has scored two goals for villa in the first two rounds of the league.

Brentford will go to the away game in this round of League. They won 7 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss in the last 10 away games. The first away game of this season is also a draw with Crystal Palace, and the away performance is quite strong. It is worth noting that Evan Tony, the top scorer in the championship last season, has so far failed. If he can find a response and be in shape, Brentford's performance will even have a chance to improve further.

Comprehensive analysis
The recent state of the two teams is quite good. Villa should be a better level in terms of overall strength and experience. Naturally, it will attract more attention under the home game. At present, villa's injury is also more serious. This game is more optimistic that Brentford can retire.

Direction: Brentford
Number of goals: 2 or less

In the third round of the Premier League, Aston Villa played Brentford. Shortly after the opening of the first half, Ivan Tony burst to break the deadlock, and then Danny Ince assisted bundia to equalise the score. Since then, both sides have attacked and defended each other, but failed to score again. In the end, Aston Villa 1-1 Brentford.

with the omissions imo we did well to get a point---good goal from Buendia,  thought Cash had a good game especially with 1 vital tackle in our box during the first half---Young showed valuable experience and energy throughout,--Carney,s first start went well, and i wonder what might have happened if Olly had come on earlier---still am looking forward to seeing Olly start with Danny-Boy,,--the ref spoilt the game falling for Brentford,s antics and playacting every time --resulting in a constnt stop start 2nd half---

for once am happy for the break---hope it gives the walking wounded time to get match fit-----

It wasnt great but given we were missing 9 first team players, you cant help but just be glad of this international break. Hopefully we can take these next two weeks to get some players match fit and available for our game against Chelsea in 11 days time.

  • avstu changed the title to Aston Villa 1-1 Brentford

Nice to be at villa park after such a long absence. I knew it would be a difficult game when I saw our lineup.

probably should have introduced Watkins a little earlier.

Depends how fit he is really doesn't it?

A poor pre-season has really hurt our start to the season. Apparently there is a friendly or 2 arrange over the next 10 days so hopefully we will see some of the boys back.

It has been frustrating with the injuries we have picked up. Would have been nice to have had Watkins, Bailey and Traore all available on Saturday.
