Thanks for creating this thread, Freddy. Have this here too, from the England Schedule thread.

31/08/2020 : Jack Grealish (finally) called up by England today, but only due to injury withdrawals by other players. We now face the danger of our main man getting crocked whilst away !

We can follow Jack's England exploits (assuming he is picked to play ! Q5dhogE.jpg  Q5dhogE.jpg ) here.

Let us trust our Jack returns to AVFC fully fit. Q5dhogE.jpg

01/09/2020 : I think the situation with JG and England is similar to that of another JG and England ... Jimmy Greaves. In the 1966 World Cup JG was injured and could not regain his place as Sir Alf Ramsey had chosen a tactical method that JG did not fit into, unfortunately. SAR was vindicated with England winning the World Cup. Whether Gareth Southgate will get vindication for his tactical approach, which sees our JG frozen out, remains to be seen.

Getting a bit restless waiting for new signings but with Brentford just spending on a new striker maybe we are about to see some movement.

Though I'm hopeful that the best bit of transfer business for us was just done at the weekend with United signing Van De Beek, hopefully that's an end to their interest in Jack, though sitting on the bench at United is apparently better for your England career than dragging a club up and keeping them up about as singlehandedly as its possible to do in a team game.

Pointless being called up when Southgate clearly isn't going to use him.

Phillips, Dier and Rice in the same side against a Denmark side we should be beating with ease? Laughable.

I had a feeling Southgate wouldn't play him, this is now looking a bit personal or just stubbornness because everyone is calling for Jack to be given a chance.

Frankly Southgate is setting himself up for a fall and it'll be fully deserved.
