West Ham have nothing to worry about now, but I do not assume they will be on their sunbeds on Sunday !

EPL (Premier League), Sunday 26/07/2020 : West Ham United v Aston Villa, KO 16:00 hours, BT Sport.

22/07/2020 : To recap, AVFC are level on points with Watford and ahead on GD, goals scored and games won.
We all know what is required to guarantee EPL survival, so let us see AVFC go all out for that win on Sunday. Q5dhogE.jpg

I was hoping we'd find them disinterested and going through the motions, after their performance at Utd it looks like I can forget that.

That point ensured their safety. While it was unlikely they would go down they wanted to get the job done last night.

Hopefully that was their last big performance of the season though we have to expect everyone around us to win and get the job done ourselves.

We all would have jumped into this situation 2-3 weeks ago.

I felt relatively confident during the week but the closer we get to the game, the more nervous I became and remember that we support Aston Villa and nothing is ever simple with Villa.

The third season in a row that our immediate future hangs on one game, I'd really enjoy a few seasons of mid table premier league obscurity.

EPL (Premier League), Sunday 26/07/2020 : West Ham United 1-1 Aston Villa

Survival achieved.
Jack Grealish gave us the lead late on, only for it to be cancelled out by a parabolic deflection !
Anyway, 35 points guaranteed 17th place and AVFC stayed true to form ... keeping us on edge to the end.
