SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 12/08/2020 : Rangers 3-0 St Johnstone

Another comfortable win, that puts Rangers top of the SPL. The goals came from Barisic (superb free kick), Kent and in the 2nd half, Aribo. However, there was still a lot of the back and sideways passing, although this time away from our box.
SG in his post-match interview was not happy about this dithering play either.

13/08/2020 : It is back to Livingston's plastic pitch for Rangers on Sunday. Let us trust that our winning start continues, despite what is underfoot. No RTV for this game for us in UK/ROI.

14/08/2020 : This farce at Heart of Midlothian's training ground (Hull City can train there but Hearts cannot), is a result of decisions made by the Scottish football authorities. Whether 'corrupt' or not, their reputation for incompetence remains undimmed.

Yep,also no need for a 2 match ban for aberdeen or celtic,1 match would have been justified.

15/08/2020 : That is not how I see it Dimitri, the postponements were/are justified and there is more to follow.

Two points dropped by Rangers from a display described on Sportsound as 'toothless'. This is hard for me to judge without having seen the game. I just hope we are not embarking on a repeat of the second half of last Season !

More same old, same old.

Until Rangers start taking 3 points from these games consistently we cannot and do not deserve anything.

We consistently struggle to break down teams who sit deep, IMO this has been a constant problem that SG has failed to solve, and appears unable to solve.

Some commentators have stated that Rangers are playing in the 'Liverpool' way, through the centre, Mark. From what I have seen of our games, that is true in part, but wing play is also used. I think SG does know the root cause of the problem, too many touches/passes when faster and more direct play is required. The problem is getting our players to do this !

Regarding the Opposition, I am surprised Dimitri has not posted about their result from yesterday (he is probably too busy setting up his Scottish Soviet Socialist Republic !).
