Most people here are just bevvying like f*ck out their gardens,no work furloughed and sunny weather.

I was but was getting fed up of piling on the pounds.

I have got myself a spin bike and set my alarm for 7am every morning now to try and get into some kind of routine.

I've extended the decking at the end of my garden, done a load of planting and with the help of a site on YouTube called School of Wok cooked some extremely nice Thai and Chinese food.

I've also put on half a stone eating it so as the knees have recovered from doing the decking I'm off out for a long walk, while my trousers still fit.

As much as I try to distract myself though I'm still missing the pub badly.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting fed up of all this stuff and wants to get back to normal?

In the UK we are having around 5-8k positive tests a day now - which is said to be around 5% of what we were getting at the top of the pandemic. Less people are dying.

When does this end?

I don't mind having to wear a mask (even though they are horrible) and ill happily wash/sanitise my hands all the time but we need to get back to normal soon surely?

They've just had their powers extended for a further 6 months, a small band of Tory rebels wanted an end to it and every other party wanted the restrictions to be far harsher.

So this isn't ending anytime soon.
