Let’s hope we can bounce back for this one.

Will be watching this one on the box.

my next visit is Burnley.

Agreed. Already looks like home games could prove crucial for this season.

I wouldn't mind changing the system. Palace had more than 20 shots the weekend. That isn't good enough.

EPL (Premier League), Monday 16/09/2019 : Aston Villa v West Ham United, KO 20:00 hours, SKY.

11/09/2019 : For AVFC the international ennui will be protracted even further, due to SKY shunting our fixture to Monday night. One benefit of Mings and Heaton not playing for England is that neither are crocked. John McGinn survived intact too.

Prediction (in Prediction League), made today : Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham United

Seems like the season is starting again-with the protracted international break-and there are more to follow in Oct and November!

I would make changes with a view to strengthening midfield and pushing Jack in a more advanced role.

COME ON YOU LIONS.

Things just got real after that Norwich result.

For the record, 14/09/2019 : Norwich City 3-2 Manchester City

We rose to 17th after Chelsea's 5-2 win at Wolves today, but are back to 18th after Norwich's win. I see Tammy Abraham has now scored 7 goals for Chelsea, including 3 today an OG against them today too.

Two more days to wait for our game against West Ham. As for Man City, they will have to wait until 11/01/2020 to visit Villa Park.

15/09/2015 : Battle of Britain Day !

A win tomorrow will lift AVFC to 13th in the Table. A draw will see us rise to 17th, replacing Newcastle.

Honeymoon period is over. Time for us to start grinding out results at all cost.
