Anyway, job done and we await the results of the remaining matches.

SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 15/02/2020 : Rangers v Livingston, KO 15:00 hours.

12/02/2020 : The gaps are now ridiculous, 10, 18 and 17 for points, GD, goals scored and this entirely our fault.
Since that poxy 'mid winter' break, the Opposition have been doing what we should have been doing.
This is not good enough from Rangers. We require an immediate turnaround if we are to have any chance of winning the Title.

SPL matches, 15 & 16/02/2020 :

Saturday 15th February
Heart of Midlothian 15:00 Hamilton Academical
Motherwell 15:00 St Mirren
Rangers 15:00 Livingston
Ross County 15:00 St Johnstone

Sunday 16th February
Aberdeen 12:00 Celtic - SKY
Kilmarnock 16:30 Hibernian

What has happened?,  SG has certainly been backed financially and assembled a team which (no disrespect) should be brushing aside teams of Hearts and Kilmarnock, just like Celtic are.

Are the players not up to it or does it sit at SG 's feet?

Either way much more is expected than this pitiful shower.

It is baffling to me, Mark. Like any Manager all SG can do is decide the team formation and tactics and select the players to carry out the game plan. In every game the opponents will be similarly set-up. In the match the game plans will either work for Rangers or work for the opponents ... they might even work for both ... or work for neither ! ... From what SG has said on several occasions now, some or all players were not carrying out the game plan ... for whatever reason(s). Sometimes the game plan is changed at half-time, to counter the opponents' game plan.

Writing this, I could just as easily be writing about Dean Smith and AVFC, as about SG and Rangers.  It has reminded me too of something Danny Blanchflower, who played for AVFC and Tottenham, wrote in his autobiography. As Captain of Tottenham, DB said he had argued with the Manager, Bill Nicholson, that the Captain should have the authority to change the game plan once the match was in progress, should the original game plan be failing.

Something to consider here, perhaps (I cannot remember if DB got his way), provided the Captain is tactically astute !
