Agreed Elmo and Taylor will certainly Imo stay this season and I believe that at the end of the season they are then out of contract and they can then be released.

To big a job to completely overhaul the squad this summer.  But a good start has been made.

It's giving rise to optimism, we'll find out soon enough if its justified in the short term though long term I think we are on the up.

I've had the same thought, but that sounds too much like a lot of our previous recruitment, how many times this past decade have we moaned about other clubs seemingly finding class players from nowhere ?

Very true mate. We have also sold players that we should have kept. For example Cahill, Albrighton and Davis. I looked at how well they did after we sold and saw what we had and felt really disheartened.

Then i hear Amavi and Veretout are pulling up trees.

i just hope this new striker we signed is our next Benteke without the big ego! What a waste that guy has become.

I would not be surprised if Elmo ended up at Sheffield Wednesday. Be interesting to see what happens with Bree.

I find it hard to be impressed by players doing well abroad. Both are in leagues that a lot of Championship clubs would be comfortable in.

The classic example is Pogba. Looks like one of the best players in the world in Italy. Looks bang average in the Premiership and he will no doubt end up at Real Madrid sooner or later and will look like a superstar again.

Hopefully he'll be every bit as good as Benteke, problem is if he gets injured are Liverpool under Klopp still mug enough to pay 3 times what we paid to "nick" him off us😄

Blimey there are loads and loads of rumours no doubt some stirred up by the press &media to sell papers,i,m doubting a fair few and wont be convinced until the player is holding a Claret and Blue shirt at Villa Park or B.H.

United are just doing what we did but on a bigger budget, no leadership or direction within the club and lots of shite recruitment.

All of which makes me hopeful that the Tuanzebe link is true....recruit a big name for 10s of millions and let the home grown kid go, just like we did with Cahill.
