Hopefully a signing or 2 and a kick up the arse from the management can get us all 3 here. Can't see how without tammy but I am a glass half full type of person when it comes to the villa plus kodjia and hogan WILL step up. It has been sh*t recently but smithy will buy the right people. Keep the faith people. UTV

EFL1 (Championship), Saturday 12/01/2019 : Wigan Athletic v Aston Villa, KO 15:00 hours.

07/01/2019 : Wigan have only scored 25 goals over their 26 matches so maybe, just maybe, AVFC could win on Saturday with a clean sheet. It is about time we got back to winning ways and started hitting the back of the net consistently. We need players other than Tammy Abraham (who may be gone anyway) to find the target, we cannot afford to be a one-man show.

Prediction (in Prediction League), made today : Wigan Athletic 0-2 Aston Villa

Aston Villa's current 10 matches, AVFC are 10th in the Table.
Showing our opponents' League positions as at 07/01/2019.

Decent run of fixtures coming up, time to start turning draws into wins, a successful January in the transfer market and we are in with a good chance of the play offs.

Who will Smithy go with, with no Tammy?---Hogan, Davis, Kodjia?----will we see any debuts?--i missed thankfully the Swansea game but by all

accounts McGinn alone emerged with any creditability and Henri when he came on,blimey where has the pride passion and commitment all gone?i hope hes ran the riot act this week ----shape up or ship out!!!

was looking forward to this but aint so dam sure now-----no Jack, McGinn who must surely be running on empty, and is one booking away from a 2 game ban----blimey what,s gonna happen with no Jack nor McGinn??---some of the other well paid so called footballers need to take stock  stand up and be counted!!!
