Poor old Doug,  His car got surrounded  by blues fans after the recent match at small heath 2 moths ago . We was locked in the ground,  he came out the kop car park and had to turn left because police had blocked the road by where we was due to come out. Then he turned left into Tilton road where the incident happened by the George pub garrison lane.

What a great player. I used to love him on the right wing overlapping with Ray Graydon . As a scouser he was rejected at Liverpool by Bill Shankley , Ron Saunders bought him to Villa Park where he had a serious eye accident with a firework. Highlights during his time here were the 5-1 win over Liverpool and the 77 league cup win. Despite the eye injury he went on to have a great  career with Everton,  Man Utd and Man City.
