I also dont get why you can eat cows and sheeps etc but not a horse? Whats the difference?

I know they do eat horse meat in Belgium and maybe other European mainland countries

Don't have to be a Veggie to love animals.......one of my Dogs is sick and the thought of anything happening to him is heartbreaking. Only had dogs the past 5 years and always thought that people who felt so strongly about them were a bit sad, how wrong I was.

no i know that mate,..as for dogs ive not got one but my daughter would love a wee dog,...only thing is they dont live that long 10-15 yrs and they become a part of the family,i can understand people who love their pets

Lost me staffie two years back to cancer, he was 14, like losing me bessie, our other dog whined like f*ck so we did some research and got our American Bulldog a mate, a big drooling Dogue de Bordeaux called Simba, he's a big kid and can't imagine being without him although they don't have the best of life spans we do our best by him including the old cod liver for his joints. Going to f**kin kill us though when these two go, don't think we will have any more dogs for a while after they have gone.

staffie's a great dogs its a shame that they get a bad rep because of dodgy chav owners,any staffy ive met have been very freindly & protective
