Congratulations to Leicester city and there fans, this is what can be achieved with solidarity on the pitch and in the boardroom Mr Lerner. A club left to kick balls by those who know what a ball is and a manager given time and left to manage the way he sees fit.

Just hope that Vardy and co stick together and build from this and not all fragment and fall into the money pit that is other top flight clubs, do it again next season for us poor and out of the prem Villa fans would you, yeah you read correctly a Villa fan asking Leicester FC to do it again next season.

Congrats to Ranieri especially. A lovely well mannered man who took a team nearly relegated by the previous manager to the Premiership title and he didn't have to use any bullying tactics either against the fans or the players.

The key to Leicester City's success has been teamwork with a settled squad.

Which is exactly what AVFC had in 1980-1981, when we only used 14 players throughout the Season.

i think a big factor was the inclusion of marc albrighton into the team . It coincided with them winning 7 out of the last 9 games last season to finish comfortably in 14th ,, form which carried on into this season . It wasnt rocket science to see Leicester would win the league  , even without pearson

Utter rubbish - a team taken up and kept up in 14 the by the previous  manager which was more than acceptable .

so much so that Ranieri confirmed today his remit from the owner was to keep Leicester up this season - ok we get , you don't like Pearson but the Leicester fans and owner were delighted by his results on the pitch .

credit to Ranieri - a lovely man and a true fairy story - the like of which I don't think English football has ever seen .

Go on Leicestershire forums and spout your opinion Morpheus and they will soon put you right - they are more than grateful to Pearson and hold him in high regard - Ranieri deserves the plaudits and will be the first to acknowledge he took over a good set up .

Pearson achieved great results with Leicester - he was sacked for other reasons and maybe rightly so .

Should Eddie Lowe be sacked as he got Bournemouth up and only finished 14th too ?

Yes he may be a knob but to discredit him on his results at Leicester shows lowers my respect  of you immensely
