Atleast Wiemann chases after the ball if we dont have possession! gabby the c**t cant even be arsed to chase down

When has Weimann done that this season?! I must off missed that! Calling a Villa player a c**t is uncalled for

Thank you for making my earlier point :

ha ha ha i followed this thread and kept wondering when skyba would pop up and defend gabby, he did in the end, lol, well done skyba, lol. i got to agree with ak, to a very large point, gabby has been crap, but no worse than the other idiots we have playing for us,

bbc have just reported that there's been heavy rain at the liberty.

Hopefully it'll make it harder for them to pass the ball around. Although it might make our passing even worse!

Worried about Bony, he's been Swansea's best player all season. Hopefully baker will be concentrating.

3goals for a winger, how many does Puncheon have at Palace?, probably on a quarter of the wage of gabby aswel Anyway no point me keep going on about gabby in the match thread I will be happy with a point out of this game
I know your thoughts on Gabby, but to compare his goals is a little unfair IMO. Yes he should score more goals but you could say that about any of our midfielder/forward players. So let's look at assists - gabby has five this season which isn't great BUT if you compare it to other players in the bottom half of the table no other player, let alone winger has more than him, with only West Brom's Christ Bunt matching him. (Source: http://www.espnfc.com/stats/assists/_/league/eng.1/barclays-premier-league?cc=5739 ). As for Weimann, the lad is useless. The one thing he used to have about him was his tracking down, his work rate which for some reason isn't there this season IMO. That could be down to the player or the manager telling him to change his game because he would only last about an hour last season. Now I am not saying gabby is great, and I'm certainly not saying he is bad. I still believe he has more to offer our club - but he like the rest of the attacking players need to really step up. I believe defending starts from the front, if you keep the ball, or don't lose it cheaply then the back four doesn't have so much pressure placed on them.

I felt we did ok last week, but not great. This is a very good Southampton side who have just beaten Everton and we managed to hold them to a draw. I am happy to see the same line up, even though I am not a fan of few in there. Let's try and keep the same team - you should only change IMO when someone comes off the bench and makes a bloody good claim to start the next game (which no1 did), we lose (which we didnt), injury or totally outclassed (which we wasn't). Swansea like the ball, so for once let's not moan about us sitting back and play to lour strengths and play counter attacking football. Let's get over the line and then we can worry about the style of play in the summer going into next season.
