i for one will be devasted

probably the idiots who say that nonsense dont live in birmingham and dont have to put up with what brummie villa fans have to put up with

if we go down we will probably stay down and we will go down with PL although he may be the best bet to bring us back up

saying that once we get over the summers feeling of acute depression i for one will be there next season what ever league we are in

Agree the championship is harder than everyone thinks

bacuna is so much more comfortable at rb than lowton who is so slow

As much as I love Villa Park and that feeling when I first see the Holte Steps and then walk up them.... What happens once im through the doors is not ideal!!

Absolutely shocking mr lambert . Progress my arse

Not a good one although I didnt think it was asbad as when I saw them play Sunderland and cardiff. What was worrying was the quiet holte end and the fellas chanting Lambert out being told to shut the kcuf up and ending in a few cross words. Always drama in K6! Luck was against us as we did have plenty of good chances and it just wasnt to be. The two west ham goals were all that were needed for them to smash, grab then park that bus nice and tight. West Ham deserved the win and we underestimated them. I am only annoyed that I spent 30 quid I could ill afford to lose on a ticket.

I was practically the only sod at the back of k6 and noticed another lonely soul at the back of k5 who looked just as bemused and solemn as me.

Annoying, thrown us back into the fight and means we have all the work to do. But we did it last year and we will do it again. VTID and UTV!!!

Today wasnt helped by me having a mother of a migraine but met quite a few decent chaps today especially a family up from Devon with their lads. Real gent of a bloke

I think the whole premier league thing is bull sh*t. There was an article on sky about cite ah and Chelsea transfer figures. In the last 10 years both have spent £70 million per season so £700 million, add the wages to that and I bet your at a billion, how will we ever compete with that ? In the championship anyone can beat anyone, that for me is what football us about.
Probably a good idea we're warming up to it.

Lol, that's just not true is it, under MON he was very consistent and was in fine form for a good few years, you'd be right in saying it post MON, houllier dropped him, Mctit expected him to play with his back to goal and only away does lambert play tactics that he likes. If we had a decent team of players that troubled the opposition and that could play decent balls behind defences for gabby to run onto we'd see a more consistent gabby but that's not going to happen. The reason he looks poor is because he's been faithful and stuck with the club through the sh*t and he gets berated for it. If he had jumped ship like the others did he probably would have had a more successful career.

Well what the guy you replied to said was true, very consistent and getting 13goals for a striker may be good in your book but for the wage he is on(65k) it isnt good enough. We are cutting back and the players on a high wage need to be performing regularly. Personally i think he should be sold if a buyer can be found(i dont think there will as nobody will be stupid enough to offer that wage to somebody with hardly any talent) and bring in a top quality player who we can pay 65k and will be consistent

Warming to the Championship? Really? Is that what footballs about! Go watch the blues you fool!

We all will be with how this season is panning out. But from the safety of the Holte End so they dont give us herpes. And by watch them, I mean us beat them into the dirt.

In seriousness it will be a scrap and any who thinks otherwise is deluded. However, how can teams compete with the mega budgets of buying up all the top players? I look at Burnley, Leicester, Nots Forrest et al and think that they will boing up in the prem and boung back down again. It is a league that is ruled by the richest clubs and coveted by a money grabbing bitch of a company to entertain hoo ray henrys with little or no interest other than seeing the latest 'big club' fixtures from the safety of their living rooms. Youonly have to look at the over reaction given to Moyes tenure at Manure to understand that: big clubs expect to be big clubs and the viewers expect them to win. They have the money and resources to make it so and, aside from a few shock victories and a bit of luck, the top clubs will pull further away from the lower clubs and so it is better to reign in hell than to serve in heaven.

Getting relegated may mean we start to see more football being played. Some on here have short memories as we have been down before and we will come back as before. All part and parcel of being a fan. Even if we end in conference north I will be a fan and we will always be bigger than blues.

Lets hope we dont get relegated but if we do, pick ourselves back up and keep going. And who cares what blues fans think. Any fanbase that cannot get on average more than 12k gate (especially with 10 quid tickets), know our score rather than their own, cannot find sherlock street and dwell in the biggest carbuncle in brum aint worth thinking about
