Chelsea have told German club Wolfsburg it will cost £25 million to sign out-of-favour Kevin De Bruyne on a permanent deal this month. The Telegraph. Looks like he ain't coming to Villa with that price tag. If Lambert does go for a striker I think he would do okay looking at Charlie Austin. Basically scores every second game.

You don't know this though do you? All we know is the purse strings have been tightened. You said the other day that you know he's looking for a buyer so surely it would make sense that he wants to sp

It's not the outlay on transfers that's the problem. Lerner knows of he pays £1m on 17 players he knows he'll probably make that money back when they're sold. Wages are money down the drain unless you

Apparently ravel Morrison is available for £6m and tom ince for £4m dunno how much truth there is in it, although I don't necessarily think this is who we need this is the type of signing I could see us making. I don't see us getting any real experience as that costs a proper wage.

I did just read an article however stating that he has an £18m release clause and that if a bid of over £10m comes in for him his pay wage will rise to £60k a week, now I'm guessing that means if a club makes an offer £10m and up and they reject it they have to pay him £60k a week, lol stupid clause if you asks me lol.

Clubs could f**k each other up with that type of clause in a contract. Make a bid for a player, pull out at the lady minute (cite medical problem) and then they have to up his wages? Sounds daft to me. Who thinks of these things?

this will be the problem for us now. Even when we look for the experience and household name players there will always be a bigger fish to snap up. We can be linked with tons of players but how attractive is the club to them? Is salary still a major problem.

According to the Bradford boss Nahki Wells has premier league clubs interested, I would not be surprised if we were in for this one.

I think he deserves a shot in the prem league, looks a good little player. I have heard its West Ham and Sunderland thought mate
