  1. I have been semi reguarly checking the Forum but have not posted in a long long time!! Apologies! My thoughts are that there is a magnitude of great content out there on other streams of social media that tackles the issues you'd normally take to a forum about. As much as it may pain you Stu, the lads a The Villa View are doing a cracking job and owe a lot to this page but offer a more streamlined interactive discussion platform than the forum. That said forum's are still a great place to air frustrations that I'm surprised the poster count has dropped.
  2. Cracking! Will keep this in mind when picking somewhere to have a beer! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Has there been any mention of a pub for this game? I'm told the ground is out of the city centre so are people drinking in centre then getting taxi/bus out or are you going up that way and finding a pub?
  4. I've always parked in the Astra Seal car park opposite the Tavern but it gets on your nerves getting out of that place as you can queue for hours!
  5. After watching him the last few weeks I don't think he's of good enough calibre to make it, as much as I want to see him do it I don't think he will. He is 24 now, should be maturing into the player he should always have been
  6. As much as I hope this is true I think this is all twitter rumours. However with the money that Everton have now they may be looking to ship out some of the old timers.. DREAM! We Fooking need something after last night
  7. Think we need this win to get Sunday out of our heads before the Rotherham game!
  8. We need to watch out for my mate Jack Marriott!
  9. Doesn't provide anything, no solidity or cutting edge, good for killing a game Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You're forgetting that Middlesborough side should have walked the Championship last year had it not been for Karanka, it was get promoted or go bust, they had Stewart Downing after he had had his best season since leaving us at West Ham, and a whole host of other expensive good players, they spent well over £40m plus the Additions of Valdes and Negredo, who are very good players Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. We should with Dr X's mooted financial clout be ripping the Championship to shreds and gaining automatic promotion this season. That for me should not be beyond us if we buy well. Minimum expectation is the play offs and anything else below that is complete failure in my book. Newcastle have lost some good players and replaced them with those of a lower standard while Norwich haven't improved much either. Derby and Brighton are decent but no more than that. I really don't think there's anything to be frightened of other than again relying on the same players last season that let us down so badly. Between now and the end of the transfer window I think that will be addressed with more players coming in with the right attitude to play alongside Ayew, Amavi, Baker, Grealish and so on. It's just a damn pity that we are still in a state of unreadyness for the start of the season but Burnley didn't win any of their first three games last season and they still were promoted. Good points, to be fair the likes of Grealish Ayew and Amavi should be tearing CS teams a new one week in week out!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Operative word being should! On paper yes they should but the same can be said that last years team on paper shouldn't of gone down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hmm.. After watching that team I think they should have, perhaps I was more optimistic when we were signing all these prodigal French players but after watching some of them, even if it was the wrong system, the price we paid we should have got more out of them. That said we really should be fighting for first place with the Geordie cunts this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
