  1. lets see... please note, these are off the top of my head as i think back, so please dont hate if i forget a significant name that i probably should of put in. GK - Given LB - N. Taylor CB - Vlaar CB - Clark RB - Hutton LW - Ash Young CM - Delph CM - Petrov RW - Grealish ST - Gabby ST - Benteke wonder how this will compare to others, really struggled to get an 11 together in all fairness, thought of Milner instead of Delph but he left in 2010 so didnt feel he counted, similarly with the likes of McGinn only having a sea
  2. I like that idea... sky+ it and watch it depending on the result, option of skipping the dull moments too.
  3. Delph is on the bench for tonight... will probably get a few minutes well after the game is disjointed, i hate these games... it will tell us nothing about how the team will move forward, 2nd half will be a joke as each team makes changes left right and centre, It will be boring, pointless, probably end up 0-0 and everyone will say how much we missed Steven Gerrard. I wont be watching it, My only wish from this game and the next actually is that Fab returns to Birmingham not sporting any kind of injury.
  4. Swansea V Aston Villa Saturday 26th April 2014 - KO 3pm Match chat and predictions.
  5. always get a couple of idiots, i would doubt the whole weekend went in complete silence, not excusing that as the guys that started shouting, and those that decided to shout for them to shut up spoilt what should of been the whole football community coming together to show support and respect as one. did you manage to stay awake to take in the game? lol since you spent the majority of the day sleeping..! :
  6. Poor display from the majority yesterday, tactics wrong, subs at the wrong time, 82nd minute and 5 after there goal was far too late imo. Holt done another 90 mins? i dont think thats ideal but to be fair to him he wasnt to worst performer, never really seen gabby take on anyone which was disappointing, but was rarely in the position to, some of the lads just looked lost, the shape was... well i dont know what it was, gabby was at LB at some stages as someone else said earlier, far too many times there was only holt or even nobody in their half, we set up to score none, we could still be p
  7. £2.40 from Birmingham Int - New Street...
  8. I actually think this is an intelligent move by lambert, and shows he might be learning. Hoolahan is a 'decent' player, he has a wealth of experience and already understands lamberts methods, we have lost a lot of senior influence from the squad without replacing them so IMO for the money and what he can bring to the team both on and off the pitch I would welcome him.
  9. Sounds like it's going to be a day/night to remember. Or not depending on alcohol intake.
  10. I pointed out months ago that lamberts media speak was just a loop, he has a pre- set patter and only changes details like names of clubs where applicable. Westwood got man of the match and only played 50 odd minutes, I'm not blaming Lambo for that but it says a lot about the other 10 lads. Harsh to lose to a laps gasp goal but 2nd half we deserved nothing, how many times this season have we been ok for 1 half and p*ss poor in the other?
  11. They had the ale put back in soon after our night there, as far as I know still do it, I'll tell them you guys expect ale so if not in they will sort some out I'm sure.
  12. West Brom V Aston Villa Premier League The Hawthorns Monday 25th November - KO @ 20:00 Match Chat & Predictions
  13. some stewards dont help matters either, like to play god for the day, ive had more probs at away games but im sure they exist within VP.
  14. so 3 people got kicked and the rest left in protest? paints a slightly different story to that told at the time... Brigada are IMHO a group that try to do good but through misguided judgement go about it all the wrong way, i was at a next gen game a while back and they were in attendance with decent following for a youth game, the atmosphere they seem to create is not a very friendly not that night anyway, I was there with family and friends who wanted to move away from the area as they felt intimidated, many others complained also. thats the only first hand example i can give from my
  15. his name was Luke something? Anyway, differing views on this as expected, but for me the fact these guys chose a value area of the ground made them an easy target, L8 being classed as the cheap seats as loyal pointed out, added to the fact its a Lower tier and very much viewable by TV camera's etc the club has to act to cover themselves, At Rotherham with only 22,000 the wings of the holte were hardly brimming to the seems and these people would of stood out, the game was televised (although not in the UK), so they were ejected... what makes that different from us lot in the upper IMHO
  16. I just cant find the desire to watch England play anymore, hope there is a stream for Belgium V Frogs, might be a bit more interested in that tbh.
  17. I was a David Tenant fan, havent watched it since he left, the other guy could of been good, i just didnt like the look of him, lol this one... top secret isnt it??
  18. IF all goes well, this time next week this topic will be closed!
  19. Stoke are a team i didnt consider before now, no wins in 13 is a bad run, i expected us to get a credible draw the weekend in all honesty and us winning bought them right into it.
  20. wigan will stay up, they are experts at this situation... Reading + QPR gone? i wouldnt rule out QPR atm, Arry could still pull something out the bag. i think Sunderland are in real danger right now, i fancy them to go with Reading and... 1 other, anyone from stoke down cant really feel safe atm surely?
  21. something Freddy said in the Darren bent topic got me thinking, we've already been turned over by Bradford (11th in League Two) and Millwall (13th in Championship) thats with the current squad, some of those will leave if we go down, not replaced with anything like the quality of them. we failed to beat teams around us in the league, Southampton twice, Wigan comfortably beat us, drew with QPR and only just beat reading, scraped through the cup against Ipswich (19th in championship). I fear for us in the long term. a positive result against city would be amazing, but its highly unlikel
  22. that cant happen... if we do go down, and we boycott games... theres every chance budgets will get cut even more and we be following the sty dwellers into league one
  23. i thought that was the idea last season if im honest, and then didnt think it could be the worse thing to happen to us. with the increase in TV money, weakness of our own squad, strengthening of those around us... and the emerging strength in the championship (lets not forget a few of them have wealthy owners now)... i think it would run a very high risk of sending us into a footballing no mans land, ive said before, 'better' teams than ours have fallen and never returned.
  24. i have no experience on this, had no problems so far, tho i am a relatively young man... just wanted to wish you all the best mate, i hope its nothing serious.
  25. cant get passed the fact we have had good performers entered in the passed tho and still get nothing... i admit i didnt see many of the performances, i generally only watch it for the scores as it can be funny... or used to be years ago, but it is only about looking after friends and neighbours now.
