  2. 22/09/2019 : League Cup Round 3, Wednesday 29/09/2019, KO 19:45 hours. Predictions for Game 08, FL02 : Brighton and Hove Albion v Aston Villa
  3. Very disappointed---thats twice now in 6 days that we have failed to press home the advantage against 10 men--in fact we look like we have the 10 men---and to concede 3 goals is in my book blinking criminal when we have more players on the field,!! its time for the manager to re-examine his selection and system ---because neither are clearly not working---and for some of the players to look at themselves----because we must not get cast adrift in that bottom 3 games will be coming thick and fast-and before you know it the gap will be too much----
  4. This has defo ruined my weekend. we had them in the palm of our hand and threw it away.
  5. Agree with what has already been said, embarrassing against a p*ss poor Arsenal side. Players on the pitch and Smith have to take huge personal blame for this one. We could all see it coming with how deep we went, we invited them on and even had the chance to learn our lesson after we got back to 2-1. El Ghazi was a disaster again, the Elmo sub invited pressure on and encouraged Arsenal. Hourihane should have been brought on very early in the second half for some calm and composure in midfield. The switching of a key midfield starting position between Hourihane to Luiz to Nakamba is just crazy stuff at this level. Wesley regardless of his goal was terrible again today. We looked good when we got at them and they looked very shaky, we should have have finished them off and kept control of the ball better. Instead we panicked again and decided to try and hold out against 10 men. Make no mistake about it that's a shockingly bad Arsenal team, complete embarrassment to cave against them and the last 2 performances are relegation form. A long way to go, not calling for heads or anything daft but we really need to start learning lessons and not go so negative when we are winning, it doesn't suit us. Some of the players can get better too you would hope with more games.
  6. 1-0 up opposition down to ten men, only going to be winner. Not when Villa are the opposition, absolutely fuming about this result. If we cannot get at least a point from these situations we are going down, simple. Completely unacceptable.
  7. EPL (Premier League), Sunday 22/09/2019 : Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa After an excellent start, 2nd half Game mis-management today has led to another defeat, drawn from the jaws of victory. Attendance : 60,331 (SSN) After this result AVFC's total Form Points fell from 30 to 25 ... that is, points after 38 games. The maximum available is now 100 points, with 96 points left to play for. AVFC are below par and 18th in the table, with 4 points and GD at -3 from 6 games.
  8. If Bruce was in charge he'd be getting absolutely crucified for sitting back at 1-0 and 2-1.
  9. Can't argue with that, game there for the taking and we just sat off them. Another p*ss poor performance.
  10. Smith deserves sh*t for this game tonight. Shocking game management. Why are we so f**cking deep? Nobody bar Mings and Heaton are telling them to push further uo. You could see from the 46th minute thst Arsenal weren't going to lie down but they were suspect at the back. El Ghazi bar his one cross has been poor. Hasn't tracked back enough. Guilbert can f*ck off. How people think he's any good is beyond me. For one of their goals he looked left, saw the man he was supposed to be marking, and still continued to leave him unmarked. Dogshit. Subs have come far too late as well. Why wait until we're 3-2 down? Poor management. Wesley bar his goal has been dogshit as well. Lazy. The amount of times he's laid the ball off and then just stopped, and not bothered to run into the box? He's supposed to be a f**cking striker ffs? This result has pissed me off more than any other this season now. Because we've just allowed them to win. May as well have not bothered turning up in the second half. Down to ten men and it looked like WE had the disadvantage
  11. EPL (Premier League), Sunday 22/09/2019 : Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa Thread Locked.
  12. i think today we will find out what sort of team we really are, and i expect no surprises to be honest
  13. same team so i imagine same 433 formation----wingers better cover back--we dont want no more Mings/ AEL confrontations!--- except Trez in for Jota----Luiz not in the 18- !! Conor on bench again---as such cant see us being a threat from corners nor free kicks--hope i,m wrong-- Come On You LIONS----
  14. SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 22/09/2019 : St Johnstone 0-4 Rangers That was an excellent 2nd half turnaround by Rangers after a scrappy and goalless 1st half. Goals from Morelos, Goldson and two from Defoe and all from open play won it today. Good stuff. Attendance : 6,251 (SSN) SPL matches, 21 & 22/09/2019 : Saturday 21st September Livingston 0-2 Aberdeen Motherwell 1-2 Ross County St Mirren 0-0 Hamilton Academical Sunday 22nd September Celtic 3-1 Kilmarnock Hibernian 1-2 Heart of Midlothian St Johnstone 0-4 Rangers
  15. Definitely. Need Hourihane on to make those set pieces count and I'm fully confident we'd score
  16. I was reading an article a few days back that said that so far this season Arsenal had conceded 120 shots at their goal, they also threw away a 2 goal lead against Watford last week. I still think anything from this will be a bonus but I expect us to get plenty of chances.
  17. Keep an eye on twitter as usually a few pop up closer to the game. Other option is phoning the ticket office everyday for returns.

  19. I really think there is a chance to make a statement here. Yes they are strong up top but they arent the same without Lacazette. Our problem is goals and there is no better defence to try and get some attacking confidence against.

  27. Europa League Group G, Thursday 19/09/2019 : Rangers 1-0 Feyenoord I missed most of this, (fell asleeep in the chair !) but not before Tavernier's penalty miss and Ojo's opener, which became the FT score. Having seen the highlights, this win could have been by more than the 1-0 scoreline. Nevertheless a win is a win and Rangers deserved this win tonight. I could not help but think of Art every time they mentioned the Feyenoord goalkeeper (Vermeer). Attendance : 46,858 (RFC) Group E : Rennes 1-1 Celtic Group G : Rangers 1-0 Feyenoord
