What's the ground like?

Goodison Park is one of the worst stadiums in the Premier league and is in urgent attention of some TLC. Wide variety of food is served inside the ground.

Home fans can tend to make a lot of noise sometimes.

Directions

Leave the M6 exit at junction 21a onto the M62. Exit the M62 at junction 4 and get onto the A5080. At the junction with A5058 turn right and continue along this road as it becomes Queens Drive.

Continue to the junction with Walton Road and turn left onto the A580 Walton Lane. Goodison and the ground are on the right.

Parking

Car Parking is available in Stanley Park, approximately half-a-mile from Goodison Park, which also has around 1,000 spaces.

Everton also has a car park on Goodison Road which includes spaces for disabled supporters.

Away Fan's Experience

Away fans are located in the Bullens Road Stand, in both upper and lower tears depending on demand. This is a very old ground and is very dated so don't expect to much when visiting Goodison Park.

They offer food including Burgers and Hotdog's but do NOT serve alcohol and usually run out of food also during half time so don't depend on getting food inside the stadium. There isn't a lot of legroom in this stadium and expect some banter with Everton fans who usually give a bit of banter as you sit right next to them.

Where to drink

The Arkles - The Arkles is situated 10 minutes walk from Goodison Park on Anfield Road and is usually fairly busy with home and away fans. Aston Villa fans do often take over this pub which then goes on to create a pretty good atmosphere. The Avillafan.com team use this pub.

The Leigh Arms - The Arms is around a 3minute walk from Goodison Park on the opposite side of County Road. This is a big favorite with home supporters but does allow away supporters in. There is usually a friendly atmosphere here.

The Stanley Park - The Stanley is known for a very good atmosphere and a lot of banter between home and away fans. On arrival to Goodison Park this is located over the road, on the corner and can not be missed. When we visited last season we was told the pub is no longer in use and will be knocked down due to trouble with home and away supporters.
