Whats the ground like?
Arsenal's old ground Highbury was always a dissapointment for me. They claim to be a big club but with such a poor ground. And then they built the Emirates Stadium.
And what a impressive stadium it is. When i visited the stadium it reminded me of a cup final stadium. The sound that can be created in the ground is pretty impressive. The only complaint i would have about the stadium would be the amount of money you need to go there.
Directions
Leave the M1 at Junction 2 and onto the A1, following the signs for City (Central London). Keep going on the A1 for around six miles, until you see Holloway Road Tube Station on your right.
Take the next left at the traffic lights into Hornsey Road and the stadium is about a 1/4 of a mile further down this road.
Parking

There is a lack of parking around the stadium. We would suggest you used a coach or park by the Tube Station and 'Tube' it in.

Away Fan's Experiance

Away fans are housed in the lower of the south east corner of the stadium. The allocation for away fans is 3,000 tickets and will usually only be increased if the law requires, such as a cup game. If this is the case, the away end stretches from the corner, to behind the goal.
The leg room is by far the best I've ever experienced. Add to that the large, padded seats, and the experience for an away fan at The Emirates is a comfortable one if nothing else.
Although there is a large variety of food available, it is extremely expensive. Alcohol is also available.
Where to drink

The Drayton Arms - The traditional away pub at Highbury, and now The Emirates. It is located virtually opposite the away end, near to Arsenal tube station.
The Twelve Pins - Is located about a ten minute walk away from the stadium, and as come reccommended by traveling away supporters.
The Gaslight - Is located oposite Finsbury Park tube station, come reccomended as accomodating to away supporters. This is also a ten minute walk from the stadium..
