Aston Villa v Southampton Preview

4

There is no getting away from the fact that the pressure is really starting to grow on Paul Lambert and his Aston Villa team as they take on fellow relegation contenders Southampton at Villa Park tomorrow.

Following the 3-1 defeat at the hands of League 2 Bradford City, Villa have a game just as big if not bigger and if they are to survive in the Premiership this season it is a much win game against a side who beat us 4-1 earlier in the season.

Paul Lambert has admitted to sleepless nights following Tuesday nights result after describing it as his most embarrassing moment in his football career.

The home side sit 1 positing and 1 point above their visitors knowing that a victory would ease some of the pressure before going into next weekends local derby with West Bromwich Albion.
