Bruce and Xia transfer talks

Manager, Steve Bruce will begin to hold talks with Aston Villa Owner Tony Xia over his Winter transfer window budget ahead of a transfer. Villa chiefs have been noted to have set a limit to what Bruce could spend in the last summer transfer window due to the new policy of Financial Fair Play (FFP) concerns. We got to hold on this news after talking to Sam Jawning, a journalist at FootballPredictions.com and managed to get some interesting scoops.

The Club only a minimum net profit of about £18 million and Xia might be unwilling to spend on players for the time being. While Villa Manager Bruce declared that, when the transfer window opens up in January, he will have to spend wisely in order to be in line with the FFP.

“The club will try to help me, I know they will. I’m due to see the chairman. He’s talking to me. Money is an issue because of FFP – still.” he said to People Newspaper via Express.

“You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to see how much money the club has spent over the years. We spent £2m in the summer and took in £20m. Personally, I’m in credit. But I’ve still got a hole to look at.

“I understand it’s difficult at a club like this.

“And I know the people here will do the best they can. We begged, stole and borrowed in the summer.

“We got in Josh Onomah, Sam Johnstone and Robert Snodgrass – all on loan, all good players.

“That’s the situation we are in – and that’s what we are facing.

“And that’s when I, as a manager, earn my money.”

In Other News, Villa’s new hero Keinan Davis has been getting a lot of praises for both fans and his club manager, following his impressive performance against QPR last week.

Davis, who was called up to the squad to lead the team, after the Villans big-money strikers Scott Hogan and Jonathan Kodjia both sustained an injury during their international break, has proved he deserved to be in the team with a stunning performance.

Speaking of the teenage striker Villa boss said: “He was absolutely immense today, It just shows you where you can come from in a short space of time.

“It’s amazing. His performance was brilliant. We haven’t got to the bottom of who actually found him because they’re all coming out of the woodwork to claim it!

“But the work that has been put into him before he came to me was important. He has good values of what is needed to be a player. I’m very pleased. He was excellent.”

The Villan fans will be anticipating Davis to fire them back to the Premier League next season, while they are currently sitting at the Fifth position in the Championship table.

Villans will be hosting Ipswich by the weekend, as they will look to obtain their three-major point at home and move further on the table. Several experts in Championship predictions predict a 2-1 victory for the home team.
